• Justin Turner failed to get a bunt down in the top of the 5th. With two strikes he was turned loose and drilled a 2 run double down the left field line. In the 6th inning, Turner hammered a long 3 run homer to left center - his first Major League Home Run.


• The Blob digs Justin Turner. He carries himself with an air of confidence and looks like he belongs. We give much of the credit to Justin's beatnik beard.

•Jason Bay also made a great defensive play and K-Rod got his 12th save.
•The Mets have taken 3 series in a row.
