It's hard to find words to help Met fans deal with today's train wreck of a game. Much in the same way it's hard to know just what to say to a fella after he's been gang raped in the prison laundry room. Hallmark just doesn't make a card for that.
• Philadelphia's bats were explosive.
• Jon Niese started out well and then fell apart.
• Our defense was a sloppy mess, and a lot of it was mental.
• The only positive we can give you is that this was a .500 road trip. If we were offered a 3-3 road trip to start the season a week ago I'm sure most of us would have taken it.
